Dear family and friends of Per,

I have known Per for many years through online gaming. We spent countless hours together on Discord, gaming, talking and laughing. I only had the chance to meet Per in person once, when he was visiting the Netherlands for a few days. He came to my home together with Niels and Tim, where we had a BBQ together. I am incredibly grateful now that I got to share that day with him.

Every time I sit down at my PC and see our friends coming online, I still see your name there among them. And each time, I realise a little more that the light next to your name will never come on again. You won't suddenly join us on Discord anymore, always cheerful, bringing your stories, jokes and laughter with you. It's those moments that make me realise how much I am going to miss you.

This weekend I had the privilege of meeting your mum and dad and some of your friends. They were all such incredibly kind and warm people. After meeting them, it somehow made even more sense to me why you were the person you were, and why you had such wonderful people around you.

I am very grateful that I got to know you, Per, and for all the memories we made over the years. You will be deeply missed.

My thoughts are with your family, your friends and everyone who loved you.
